why i am not afraid of the outcome of tomorrow’s elections (and why its not because i am just immature or narrow-minded)

there have been more than enough advertisements and commercials and infomercials and talk shows and interviews than i think i ever want to see for the rest of my life. i have heard candidates talk about every issue under the sun without ever really talking about the issue – without ever manning up and picking a side and moving on. why is it we cannot simply be told their opinion on something without being prepped about why we need change or the difficult situation our country is in which somehow demands they preface their answer which turns out not to really be an answer anyway?

 

oh, i am more than ready for november 5th to be here.

acts 6:1-7

you gotta read it first acts 6:1-7

so there is this food-distribution issue. a real problem when there are thousands joining your movement whenever one of your leaders opens his mouth and starts speaking truth. and when you let widows (seriously – who cares about them!?!) join the party. apparently a certain group of widows were being ignored when it was chow-time and so the Twelve (what a sweet name “the Twelve” – if you are one of them, kablaam. they had to have amazing t-shirts with some pimpin logos and club handshakes) start to discuss it.
